Ingredientes

  • 1 doz. chicken parts (or possibly 6 chicken breasts)
  • 1 pound mushrooms, sliced
  • 3/4 c. white or possibly rose wine
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 4 tbsp. water, mixed with 2 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • Pepper to taste

Direcciones

  1. Place sliced mushrooms in the bottom of a casserole dish. Top with chicken. Mix the remaining ingredients and pour over the chicken. Bake uncovered in a 350 degree oven for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hrs. Baste the chicken occasionally with the juices in the casserole. Serves 4-6.
  2. Note: Can marinade the chicken in the sauce several hrs before cooking.
