Ingredientes

  • 3 pound chicken, floured
  • 3 tbsp. shortening
  • 1 med. onion, sliced
  • 1 lg. clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry basil, crushed
  • Dash warm pepper sauce
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1/2 c. diced celery
  • 2 ounce. shredded Swiss cheese
  • Warm buttered noodles

Direcciones

  1. Brown chicken in shortening. Combine onion, garlic, salt, basil, pepper sauce, soup and 1 c. water. Pour over chicken. Simmer, covered 40 min. Add in celery, cook about 15 min (till tender). Stir in 1/2 of cheese; sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Serve over noodles. Serves 4.
