Chicken & Sausage Jambalaya

Ingredientes

  • 1 whole chicken
  • 1 link sausage, cut in slices (Elgin, Meyers are good)
  • 1 c. onion, minced
  • 1 c. celery, minced
  • 4 cloves, diced
  • 1 1/2 c. uncooked rice
  • 1 teaspoon each thyme, basil, dry mustard, garlic pwdr, salt, white pepper, black pepper

Direcciones

  1. Cook chicken and reserve 3 c. broth. Remove chicken from bone and cut into small pcs. Saute/fry vegetables and sausage together in a large saucepan. When vegetables are limp, add in 3 c. chicken broth, chicken, spices. Bring to a boil. Add in rice and reduce heat. Cook 20 to 30 min till rice is done.
