Ingredientes

  • 3 1/2 - 4 pound fryer (cut up)
  • 1 tbsp. salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 c. butter (or possibly butter)
  • 3 sm. onions, minced
  • 1 clove chopped garlic
  • 3 tbsp. parsley
  • 1/2 c. port wine (or possibly water)
  • 1 (8 ounce.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1 pound shelled, deveined shrimp
  • Snipped parsley

Direcciones

  1. 45 min before serving:
  2. Rub chicken with salt and pepper. Heat butter and fry chicken till golden.
  3. Add in onion, garlic, minced parsley, wine, tomato sauce and basil.
  4. Simmer, covered about 30 to 35 min. Push chicken to one side of skillet. Turn up heat so tomato sauce mix boils; add in shrimp and cook.
  5. Pile chicken pcs in serving dish. Top with shrimp. If necessary skim fat from sauce; pour sauce over chicken and shrimp. Sprinkle with parsley or possibly garnish. Serves 6.
