Ingredientes

  • 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 1/2 c. thinly sliced onion
  • 1 lrg green pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 pkt (about 1 lb.) fresh grnd chicken
  • 1/4 c. tomato paste
  • 1 x clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 tsp dry oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 x prepared recipe pie crust mix
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine, melted

Direcciones

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat oil. Add in onion and pepper and saute/fry 3 to 5 min. Add in chicken, tomato paste and seasonings and cook 8 to 10 min till chicken is cooked through. Preheat oven to 375F. Roll out prepared pie crust into a round 1/8 inch thick. Cut circle in quarters to create 4 wedge shaped pcs. Place 1/4 of filling on the wide rounded end of each wedge; mix in sides and roll up. Place stromboli seam-side down on baking sheet, brush with butter and bake 30 min till pastry is lightly browned.
