Ingredientes

  • 1 kilo chicken wings, cut at the joints into nibbles
  • 1/2 cup tausi, salted black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 3-5 pcs. dried red chili
  • 1/2-3/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1-2 tbsp. sugar
  • 2-3 pcs. star anise
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • salt

Direcciones

  1. In a large sauce pan place the chicken and all the other ingredients except the tausi and salt.
  2. Add in 4-6 cups of water, bring to a boil and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes or until chicken wings are tender and most of the liquid has evaporated.
  3. Add in the tausi and correct saltiness if required.
  4. Thicken sauce with cornstarch diluted in 1/4 cup of water and cook for another half a minute until the sauce thickens.
  5. Serve hot with a lot of rice.
