Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. finely minced onion
  • 1 x clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 x (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, liquid removed, reserving liquid
  • 4 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp grnd black pepper
  • 2 c. chicken broth
  • 2 c. diced cooked chicken
  • 1 x (16 ounce) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 c. shredded sharp cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 3 quart boiling water
  • 8 ounce spaghetti
  • 1/2 c. buttered breadcrumbs

Direcciones

  1. Saute/fry onion, garlic, and mushrooms in butter till soft; blend in flour, 1 1/2 tsp salt, and pepper. Add in broth and reserved mushroom liquid; cook, stirring constantly, till thickened. Fold in chicken, tomatoes, and cheese.
  2. Meanwhile add in 1 tbs salt to rapidly boiling water. (One tbs oil may also be added.) Gradually add in spaghetti so which water continues to boil. Cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, 8 min. Drain in colander. Combine spaghetti and chicken mix in 2 1/2-qt baking dish; top with buttered crumbs. Bake at 375 degrees F. about 25 min or possibly till nicely browned.
