Ingredientes

  • 2 c. pre-cooked pinto beans
  • 1/2 pound lean grnd meat
  • 1/2 tbsp. chili pwdr
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes, undrained
  • 3 green onions, diced
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 celery stalk, diced
  • 1/4 teaspoon grnd rosemary
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon cilantro
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped (optional)

Direcciones

  1. Brown meat with green onions, chili pwdr and garlic. Put all ingredients, except beans, in cooking pot and simmer 45 to 60 min. Stir in beans (with original cooking juice if possible) and simmer another 15 min. Thin or possibly thicken as desired by adding or possibly decreasing water.
  2. Serve with a green salad and corn bread.
