Ingredientes

  • 4 filet mignon steaks (1 inch thick)
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp. oil
  • 1 sm. onion, sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 6 fresh, med. mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/4 c. salsa verde
  • 1 (4 ounce.) can minced green chilies
  • 1/4 c. dry red wine
  • 1 teaspoon chili pwdr
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • Lowfat sour cream

Direcciones

  1. Sprinkle filets with salt and pepper. Saute/fry in oil till cooked as desired. Remove and keep hot.
  2. In same skillet, cook onion and garlic till translucent/soft. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cook till sauce is reduced and thickened.
  3. Serve filets with mix on top and add in a dollop of lowfat sour cream and a slice of avocado on top of which.
  4. Good served with twice baked potatoes with Monterey Jack cheese and chili pwdr mixed in.
