Ingredientes

  • 2 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 lrg Onion, minced
  • 2 x Celery stalks, minced
  • 4 x Garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 x Green pepper, minced
  • 2 c. Grnd Seitan
  • 1 tsp Basil
  • 1/2 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Chili pwdr
  • 1/4 tsp Cloves, grnd Cayenne or possibly warm sauce, to taste
  • 2 c. Red kidney beans, cooked
  • 1/2 c. Liquid from beans
  • 4 c. Tomatoes, canned Tamari to taste

Direcciones

  1. Heat the oil in a large, heavy kettle. Add in the onion and celery. Saute/fry till almost tender. Add in the garlic, green pepper, gluten, and spices.
  2. Saute/fry for a few min more.
  3. Add in the beans, cooking liquid, and tomatoes. Cover and simmer for about 10 min. Add in tamari to taste.
  4. Serve with cornbread or possibly tortillas and a big green salad.
