Ingredientes

  • 2 (7 ounce.) cans Ortega whole green chilies
  • 1 pound mellow Cheddar cheese
  • 1 pound Jack cheese
  • 4 Large eggs
  • 1 lg. can evaporated lowfat milk
  • 3 tbsp. flour
  • 1 teaspoon lowfat milk
  • 1 (8 ounce.) can tomato sauce

Direcciones

  1. Remove seeds and flatten chilies to cover greased 11 x 7 inch baking dish. Cover chilies with thick slices of Cheddar cheese. Add in another layer of chilies and cover with slices of Jack cheese. Separate Large eggs and beat whites till stiff. Combine yolks, lowfat milk, flour and lowfat milk and salt. Fold into whites and pour mix over chilies and cheese. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 min. Spread tomato sauce on top and bake another 30 min. 12 servings.
