Receta Chilli calamari Greek-style
Greek dishes are not big on Chilli, but the addition of this gives a great Zing to the dish, Enjoy

- In a large saucepan heat the oil and fry the chilli, garlic and onion together over medium heat until just starting to soften.
- Add the wine, tinned tomatoes and tomato juice, the sugar and a sprinkling of salt and pepper.
- Cover and cook gently over low heat for about 50 minutes.
- Add the calamari and cook for a further 45 minutes.
- Add the prawns and simmer through to heat for about 10 minutes.
- Add the coriander leaf and a dash of olive oil just before serving.
- Crusty bread is good for mopping up the lovely sauce.
