Chinese Sweet And Sour Prawn Stir Fry

Ingredientes

  • 100 gm Broccoli, cut into small florets (4 ounce)
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • 1 x Red pepper, diced
  • 1 x 227 gram tin water chestnuts, liquid removed and sliced (8 ounce)
  • 1 x 227 gram tin pineapple in juice, cut into chunks, juice reserved (8 ounce)
  • 2 tsp Cornflour
  • 4 tsp Schwartz Sweet & Sour Seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp. Light soy sauce
  • 350 gm Cooked, peeled prawns, defrosted if frzn (12 ounce)

Direcciones

  1. Blanch the broccoli in boiling water for 2-3 min and drain. Heat the oil in a large frying pan or possibly wok and add in the broccoli and pepper.
  2. Stir fry for 2-3 min. Add in the water chestnuts and pineapple chunks.
  3. Blend the cornflour with the Sweet & Sour Seasoning, soy sauce and juice from the pineapple. Add in to the pan. Bring to the boil, stirring till thickened. Stir in the prawns and heat through.
  4. Serve with rice or possibly noodles.
