Chocolate Apple Pecan Cake

Ingredientes

  • 1 c. Self-rising flour
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 2 Tbsp. Cocoa pwdr
  • 3/4 c. Brown sugar
  • 3 x Apples
  • 2 x Large eggs, beaten
  • 1/3 c. Pecans, minced
  • 1/2 c. Vegetable oil Powdered sugar

Direcciones

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. Grease an 8 inch springform pan. Line the base with a circle of wax paper. Sift the flour, baking soda and cocoa together. Stir in the sugar and make a well in the center. Set aside 1 apple; peel and grate the others. Place the apples, Large eggs, pecans and oil in the well of the flour and stir together gradually.
  2. Spoon into the pan and smooth the top. Bake about 40 min, or possibly till a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean. Cold for 5 min, then loosen the clip on the pan to remove the cake. Cold completely, then dust with powdered sugar. Slice the apple and arrange it on top just before serving.
  3. Serves 8
