Ingredientes

  • 1/3 c. butter
  • 1 x 12 oz bag semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (not imitation vanilla)
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2/3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 c. minced walnuts or possibly pecans*

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 325F. Grease and flour an 8 inch square baking pan.
  2. Combine the butter and 1 c. of the chocolate chips in a heavy saucepan and place over low heat; stir almost constantly till melted and smooth Or possibly microwave the butter and chocolate chips in a bowl, on high power for about 2 min, then whisk till smooth. Set aside to cold slightly.
  3. Beat in the Large eggs and vanilla, then add in the sugar and beat till smooth. Add in the flour and salt and beat till blended. Stir in the walnuts or possibly pecans and the remaining 1 c. of chocolate chips. Spread in the prepared pan and bake for about 35 min - the center should remain moist. It is better to under-bake than over-bake. Let cold for about 15 min, then cut into 2 inch squares.
  4. Makes 16 brownies.
  5. Toast the walnut or possibly pecans in a 350 oven for about 5-6. It brings out the flavor of the nuts. After the nuts have cooled, you can chop them and add in to the batter.
