Ingredientes

  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 c. unsweetened cocoa pwdr
  • 1 lrg egg
  • 3 lrg egg whites
  • 1 tsp instant coffee dissolved in
  • 1 tsp warm water
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c. liquid removed unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 3/4 c. sugar
  • 4 ounce miniature chocolate chips preferably semisweet chocolate

Direcciones

  1. Tip: Drain applesauce in a sieve lined with a paper coffee filter; or possibly use a yogurt drainer. Don't substitute egg replacer or possibly self-rising flour.
  2. Preheat oven to 350F degrees. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour and cocoa. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk egg and egg whites till combined. Add in dissolved coffee, vanilla and applesauce, and stir till combined. Add in sugar and stir till dissolved. Mix in flour mix and chocolate chips till dry ingredients are just moistened.
  4. Pour batter into a lightly sprayed 8x13 inch pan and bake for 30 min. Cold on a rack and cut into 2x2-inch squares. About 15 servings.
