Chocolate Cobbler

Just a very good, easy cobbler and we love it so much.

Ingredientes

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 & 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1 & 1/2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • Chocolate layer
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 6 Tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup boiling milk

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a 9x13" baking dish, melt the butter in the oven
  3. In a bowl mix together the 1 & 1/4 cups of sugar, flour, vanilla & 3/4 cup milk.
  4. Once the butter is melted pour this batter over the butter, do not stir.
  5. In another bowl mix together the cocoa & remaining sugar.
  6. Sprinkle cocoa/sugar mixture on top of batter but do not stir.
  7. Pour the boiling water/milk on top of that (do not stir) and bake for 30 to 45 minutes.
  8. Should have a real nice brown crust.
  9. In my oven it takes 35 minutes.
