Chocolate Ganache Cake

This is a FABULOUS chocolate ganache cake that is rich, delicious, and a cinch to make. It's flourless so it is gluten free and great for Passover too.

Ingredientes

  • 10 ounces of bittersweet or semisweet chocolate, chopped
  • 7 ounces butter , cut into peices
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 cup sugar

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Butter a 9 inch spring form pan and dust with cocoa powder.
  3. Melt the chocolate and butter in a double boiler, stirring occasionally until smooth.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, and sugar and then whisk the melted chocolate mixture until smooth.
  6. Pour the batter into the spring form pan and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  7. The cake is done when it is set and quivers like pudding.
  8. If you touch the center, finger should come away clean.
  9. Cool cake on cooling rack.
