- Cook first 3 ingredients in a large saucepan over high heat, stirring constantly, till sugar melts. Add in 2 c. chocolate morsels and vanilla extract, stirring till mix is smooth. Let cold 15 min.
- Add in flour, baking soda, and salt to cooled chocolate mix, stirring till blended; stir in Large eggs and minced pecans till blended. Spread brownie batter into a greased and floured 13- by 9-inch pan.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 30 min. Sprinkle remaining 2 c. chocolate morsels proportionately over hot brownies, and let stand 5 min to soften. Spread over top. Cold on a wire rack.
- This recipe yields 18 brownies.
