Chocolate gravy

This recipie has to be a staple at every southern breakfast table! Chocolate gravy is my husband's favorite breakfast recipe of all-time! The recipe speaks for it itself! (I LOVE this on waffles topped with whipped cream!) This is usually served on top of buttermilk biscuits!

Ingredientes

  • 1/2 stick of butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 cups milk (can use 2 cups I you prefer gravy to be thinner)
  • 2 tsp vanilla

  3. Put in saucepan and add milk while stirring (best if whisked)
  4. Simmer over medium heat, and add butter when thickened!
  5. Pour over hot biscuits and enjoy!
