Ingredientes

  • 125 gm dark chocolate
  • 4 x egg whites
  • 3/4 c. sugar (caster)
  • 1 c. hazelnuts, grnd
  • 2 Tbsp. flour, plain
  • 200 gm dark chocolate
  • 125 gm butter
  • 1/2 c. sugar (caster)
  • 4 x egg yolks
  • 1 Tbsp. Grand Marnier

Direcciones

  1. Line base and sides of a 30cm X 20cm lamington pan with foil. Lightly grease.
  2. Heat chocolate and spread proportionately over the foil on base, chill about 10 min.
  3. Prepare the filling:Beat egg whites in small bowl with an electric mixer till soft peaks form, gradually add in sugar, beating till dissolved between additions. Gently mix in nuts and flour; spread filling over chocolate base.
  4. Bake in a moderate oven (320 F) about 20 min or possibly till hard; cold about 15 min.
  5. Prepare the topping:Heat chocolate in heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water. Beat butter and sugar in small bowl with electric mixer till light and fluffy. Add in egg yolks, one at a time, beating well between additions. Add in liqueur and chocolate, beat till just combined.
  6. To finish:Spread topping proportionately over baked pastry base, and bake a further 15 min; cold in pan. Chill several hrs or possibly till hard before cutting.
  7. Serve with afternoon tea.
