Ingredientes

  • 3 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. grnd coffee
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 3/4 tsp grnd cinnamon
  • 2 c. half-and-half
  • 1/3 c. chocolate syrup

Direcciones

  1. Bring 3 1/2 c. water and coffee to a boil in a saucepan; remove from heat, and let stand 10 min. Pour mix through a fine wire-mesh strainer into a bowl, discarding coffee grounds.
  2. Stir 2 Tbsp. sugar and 3/4 tsp. cinnamon into coffee till sugar dissolves; let cold. Stir in half-and-half and syrup; refrigerate2 hrs. Serve over ice.
  3. This recipe yields 2 qts.
  4. Comments: To keep the drink from diluting, freeze cubes of leftover coffee and half-and-half to use in place of ice.
  5. Yield: 2 qts
