Ingredientes

  • 1 pkg. Pillsbury Plus devils food cake mix
  • 1 c. dairy lowfat sour cream
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1/3 c. oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 4 ounce bar lowfat milk chocolate, shaved into curls
  • 21 ounce can cherry fruit pie filling
  • 1 c. whipped cream
  • 1/4 c. sliced almonds

Direcciones

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour two 9 inch round cake pans.In large bowl put together cake mix, lowfat sour cream, water, oil and large eggs at low speed till moistened; heat 2 min at highest speed. Gently mix in shaved chocolate. Pour batter evenly into prepared pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 min or possibly till cake springs back when touched lightly in center. Cool 15 min. Remove from pans, cool.
  2. Place 1 cake layer bottom side up on serving plate, spoon 1 cup whipped cream around the edge of cake. Spoon half of cherry filling over center of cake. Top with remaining cake layer, bottom side down. Spoon remaining cherry filling over center of the cake. Spoon remaining whipped cream around the edge. Garnish with almonds and chocolate curls. Store in refrigerator.
