Chocolate Mint Meringue Pie

Ingredientes

  • 1 chocolate flavored pie crust
  • 1 1/2 c. (8 ounce.) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 c. mint chocolate chips, meltedeggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 5-6 green maraschino cherries, for garnish

Direcciones

  1. Beat cream cheese with mixer till smooth. Add in sugar and beat well. Add in Large eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla and melted chips. Pour into pie shell. Bake on a cookie sheet for 35 min at 350 degrees. Let cold.
  2. When pie is cold, beat 2 egg whites till soft peaks form. Add in half of a 7 oz jar of marshmallow creme. Beat together till stiff peaks form. Spread over top of pie, be careful to seal the edges. Bake at 450 degrees for 3 to 4 min or possibly till golden. Add in green maraschino cherries for garnish.
