Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie

This is my husband's favorite desert, I'm not a peanut butter fan, But I make it so I can keep hubby happy.

Ingredientes

  • 1 refrigerated rolled pie crust (15 oz)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup chunky peanut butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips, plus additional for garnishing
  • frozen whipped topping (coolwhip)het oven to 375 d thawed
  • chopped peanuts

Direcciones

  1. heat oven to 375 degrees
  2. fit pie crust intoa 9 inch pie plate
  3. refrigerate while preparing filling
  4. In a small bowl, lightly beat eggs with a fork
  5. stir in corn syrup, sugar, peanut butter, and vanilla extract, mix until completely blended
  6. remove piecrust from refrigertor and sprinkle with chocolate chips then pour peanut butter mixture over top
  7. cover edges of the pie with aluminum foil
  8. bake pie at 375 degrees for 20 minutes
  9. remove foil and bake for an additional 15 to 20 minutes or until knife inserted in center come out clean
  10. cover and chill for 2 hours
  11. garnish with whipped topping, and remaining chocolate chips and chopped peanuts
