Ingredientes

  • 1/2 pt heavy cream
  • 7 ounce semisweet chocolate, best quality
  • 2 lrg egg, yolks
  • 3 Tbsp. brandy, best quality
  • 3/4 ounce butter

Direcciones

  1. In a thick-bottomed pot, heat the cream till near boiling.
  2. Remove and set aside for 1 minute before adding chocolate. Stir in till melted and smooth.
  3. Once melted, stir in egg yolks and brandy.
  4. Cold slightly, add in butter and stir till smooth and shiny. Pour into individual serving pots.
  5. PS. Sometimes if you add in the butter when the chocolate isn't cold sufficient it will make the chocolate look as if it has split. To rectify this allow the mix to cold a little longer before stirring in some cool lowfat milk, a little at a time, till you have a smooth consistency again.
