Ingredientes

  • 1 lb Bittersweet or possibly semisweet - Chocolate minced
  • 1 3/4 c. Sugar
  • 4 lrg Large eggs
  • 1/4 c. Butter melted
  • 1 Tbsp. Vanilla
  • 1 tsp Instant espresso pwdr
  • 1/2 c. Cake flour
  • 1 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 2 1/3 c. Semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 c. Walnuts toasted and minced

Direcciones

  1. Heat 1 lb. chocolate in top of double boiler, stirring till smooth.
  2. Remove from heat.
  3. Using mixer, beat sugar and Large eggs till pale yellow and thick about 5 min. Beat in melted chocolate, melted butter, vanilla and espresso.
  4. Sift flour, baking pwdr and salt. Stir dry ingredients into chocolate mix. Fold in chips and nuts. Chill till hard, about 30 min.
  5. Heat to 350 oven. Line 2 large sheets with parchment paper.
  6. Drop batter by 1/2 cupfuls, spacing every. Press with moist fingers to create 3 1/2 to 4" rounds.
  7. Bake till tops become dry and crack, about 16 min. Cold on parchment. Remove.
