- Heat chocolate bits over hot water. Add in corn syrup and light cream. Put together vanilla wafer crumbs, powdered sugar and nuts. Add in chocolate mix and 1/2 tsp vanilla.Chill for 1/2 hour, then shape into 1 inch balls. Roll in granulated sugar. Let "ripen" in covered container for at least 3 days.
