Chocolate Sauerkraut Cake

Ingredientes

  • 2/3 c. butter or possibly margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 x Large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa
  • 2 1/4 c. flour, sifted
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking pwdr
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 c. water
  • 2/3 c. sauerkraut, well liquid removed and minced

Direcciones

  1. Grease and flour two 8" or possibly 9" (round) layer-cake pans. Cream together butter and sugar. Add in Large eggs and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together and add in alternately with water. Stir in sauerkraut.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 to 35 min or possibly till cake is done when tested.
  3. Fill and frost with whipped cream.
