Ingredientes

  • 2 c. Flour
  • 2 c. Sugar
  • 1 stk butter or possibly margarine
  • 1/2 c. Shortening (or possibly oil)
  • 4 Tbsp. Cocoa
  • 1 c. Water
  • 1/2 c. Buttermilk
  • 1 tsp Soda
  • 2 x Large eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Vanilla

Direcciones

  1. Sift flour and sugar together in bowl. Combine butter, shortening, cocoa, and water in saucepan. Bring to a rapid boil. Pour over flour mix and stir well. Add in buttermilk, soda, Large eggs, cinnamon, and vanilla; mix well. Pour into well-greased pan 16"x11"x1" deep. Bake twenty min 400 deg.
  2. Icing: 1 stick butter or possibly margarine 4 Tablespoons cocoa 6 Tablespoons lowfat milk 1 box powdered sugar 1 t vanilla 1 c pecans
  3. Heat butter, cocoa, lowfat milk. Bring to boil. Remove from heat, add in powdered sugar, vanilla, pecans. Beat well, spread on cake while warm and leave in pan. Start icing five min before cake is done.
