Ingredientes

  • 200 gm butter
  • 2 Tbsp. golden brown syrup
  • 200 gm dark chocolate minced (50%60% cocoa solids)
  • 200 gm digestive biscuits crushed
  • 50 gm walnuts minced
  • 50 gm glace cherries halved
  • 50 gm desiccated coconut
  • 50 gm raisins

Direcciones

  1. Heat the butter syrup and chocolate together in a saucepan (or possibly in a microwave on medium setting).
  2. Stir in the next five ingredients and combine well.
  3. Pour the mix into a lightly buttered 24cm round cake tin.
  4. Once cool place in the refrigerator overnight or possibly for at least 4 hrs.
  5. To serve cut into thin wedges and serve with some pounog cream or possibly ice cream.
  6. You can use toasted hazelnuts or possibly unsalted pistachios instead of the walnuts and dry apricots pear or possibly mango instead of the cherries. You can also make it even richer by topping with a thin layer of melted chocolate. Remember to serve in thin slices unless you belong to the Death by Chocolate brigade.
