Ingredientes

  • 1 pkg. Betty Crocker SuperMoist devil's food cake mix
  • 1 1/3 c. water
  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 (14 ounce) bag caramels
  • 1/2 c. evaporated lowfat milk
  • 1 c. minced pecans
  • 1 (6 ounce) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips (1 c.)

Direcciones

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease pan, 13 x 9 x 2-inches, with shortening; lightly flour. Make cake mix, using water, oil and large eggs. Pour half of batter into pan.Bake 25 min. Heat caramels and lowfat milk in 1-quart saucepan over medium heat about 10 min, stirring frequently, till caramels are melted. Pour and spread caramel over warm cake in pan. Sprinkle with pecans and chocolate chips. Spread with remaining batter.
  2. Bake 30 min. Run knife around side of pan to loosen cake. Cool completely, about 1 hour. Store, covered, at room temperature.
