Chocolate Walnut Meringue Cookies

Ingredientes

  • 3 x egg whites
  • 2 c. powdered sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa pwdr
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 c. finely minced walnuts

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Beat egg whites till stiff. Mix powdered sugar and cocoa together in a bowl.
  2. Gradually add in vanilla and powdered sugar mix (one quarter of the sugar at a time) to the egg whites, beating for only a few seconds on low speed till powdered sugar is incorporated. Hand mix in the walnuts.
  3. Place one tsp. of meringue mix onto cookie sheet covered in parchment paper and bake for 13-15 min. The cookies will puff up.
