Ingredientes

  • 2 1/4 c. Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 c. Shortening
  • 1/2 c. Butter
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 5 x Large eggs
  • 1 tsp Lemon flavoring
  • 1 Tbsp. Brandy
  • 3/4 c. Blanched, minced almonds
  • 1 c. Shredded moist coconut
  • 1/4 c. Candied lemon peel, minced

Direcciones

  1. Sift flour, measure add in baking pwdr salt and sift again. Cream shortening and butter together, add in sugar, cream till well blended. Add in Large eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Fold in lemon, and brandy...then almonds and coconut. Add in dry ingredients. Turn batter into greased and floured 9 inch tube pan.
  2. Bake in slow [300] degree oven. for 1 1/4 hrs. when cold store in air tight container.
