Ingredientes

  • 1 lb Butter, room temp
  • 12 x Large eggs
  • 1 lb Raisins
  • 3/4 lb Cherries
  • 1 lb Dates
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Cloves
  • 1 tsp Allspice
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 4 x Rings pineapple (2 red & 2 green)
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 5 c. Flour
  • 3/4 lb Almonds
  • 1/4 lb Citrus peel
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 lt Apple juice, or possibly dark rum
  • 1 lb Sugar
  • 1 lb Currants

Direcciones

  1. After cutting fruit soak fruit in apple juice, or possibly the rum , if you prefer.
  2. Cream butter and sugar. Add in Large eggs and beat well. Add in dry ingredients and fruit. If it is too stiff add in a little cherry or possibly fruit juice. Bake two hrs @ 275 . Put a pan of water in the oven to prevent over drying.
