%20in%20the%20past%20and%20have%20loved%20every%20one%20of%20them:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EChocolate%20Jumbles%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnadama%20Bread%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECappuccino%20Shortbread%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20there%20are%20several%20more%20that%20I%20want%20to%20must%20try!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EA%20few%20weeks%20ago,%20Tate's%20Bake%20Shop%20sent%20me%203%20bags%20of%20their%20new%20award%20winning%20cookies,%20Whole%20Wheat%20Dark%20Chocolate%20All%20Natural%20Cookies%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThey%20almost%20vanished%20before%20my%20eyes...a%20bag%20left%20the%20house%20that%20night%20to%20a%20%22kick-back%22%20with%20one%20of%20my%20daughters.%20The%20next%20day,%20another%20bag%20disappeared%20at%20my%20office%20and%20the%20last%20bag%20disappeared%20somewhere%20in%20between.%20I%20think%20I%20got%20to%20eat%202%20cookies.%20They%20were%20delicious!%20Thin,%20crispy%20yet%20the%20chocolate%20chips%20were%20soft%20(one%20of%20the%20first%20things%20my%20youngest,%20chocolate-loving%20daughter%20noticed%20with%20approval).%20I'm%20not%20a%20%22whole%20wheat%22%20fan.%20I%20just%20don't%20care%20for%20that%20earthy%20flavor%20but%20to%20be%20honest...I%20couldn't%20even%20tell%20that%20these%20cookies%20were%20whole%20wheat.%20Which%20is%20a%20huge%20plus%20in%20my%20book.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWith%20all%20that%20said.....I%20have%20the%20pleasure%20of%20GIVING%20AWAY%203%20bags%20of%20these%20fabulous%20Whole%20Wheat%20Dark%20Chocolate%20All%20Natural%20Cookies....AND%20a%20copy%20of%20the%20Tate's%20Bake%20Shop%20Cookbook,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eautographed%20by%20Kathleen%20King,%20the%20owner%20and%20baker%20at%20Tate's%20Bake%20Shop%20in%20Southhampton,%20New%20York.%20If%20you're%20not%20familiar%20with%20them...I%20highly%20recommend%20checking%20them%20out...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOn%20their%20website%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETatesBakeShop.com%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eor%20on%20FaceBook%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFacebook.com/TatesBakeShop%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eor....%20on%20Twitter%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETwitter.com/%23!/TatesBakeShop%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20now....for%20the%20cookies%20I%20baked%20for%20National%20Cookie%20Month....Chuckies.%20I%20made%20only%201%20change.%20And%20it%20was%20out%20of%20necessity%20on%20my%20part%20rather%20then%20with%20the%20intent%20to%20alter%20or%20improve.%20You%20see,%20I%20thought%20I%20had%20bittersweet%20chocolate%20at%20home%20so%20I%20didn't%20buy%20any.%20But%20I%20didn't.%20Therefore,%20instead%20of%20having%20chunks%20of%20chocolate%20in%20this%20amazing%20cookie,%20I%20had%20a%20Mexican%20chocolate%20flavored%20dough.%20Which%20was%20wonderful.%20But%20I%20still%20wanna%20bake%20these%20again%20the%20way%20they%20are%20intended%20in%20the%20cookbook.%20You%20see...I%20had%20just%20bought%20some%20Mexican%20Chocolate%20(had%20no%20idea%20what%20for%20at%20the%20time....but%20I%20figured%20these%20cookies%20would%20be%20a%20great%20way%20to%20put%20the%20chocolate%20to%20the%20text).%20Only%20I%20didn't%20know%20that%20the%20kind%20of%20Mexican%20chocolate%20I%20purchased%20is%20intended%20for%20hot%20chocolate%20and%20it%20is%20not%20that%20great%20to%20eat...as%20in%20chunks...in%20cookies.%20Apparently,%20the%20chocolate%20is%20a%20bit%20grainy.%20But%20this%20was%20the%20chocolate%20I%20had%20at%20home%20(I%20seriously%20did%20not%20want%20to%20go%20to%20the%20store%20again).%20Soooo,%20with%20a%20little%20help%20from%20my%20wonderful%20baking%20buddies....whom%20I%20can%20go%20to%20with%20all%20sorts%20of%20questions%20and%20someone%20will%20have%20an%20answer....I%20was%20informed%20that%20I%20could%20stick%20the%20Mexican%20chocolate%20in%20a%20food%20processor,%20grind%20it%20up%20and%20use%20it%20that%20way%20(Thank%20you%20Lee...you're%20the%20bestest!!!).%20Which%20I%20did.%20With%20delicious%20results.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EChuckies%20with%20Mexican%20Chocolate%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETo%20toast%20the%20nuts%20and%20coconut,%20spread%20on%20a%20cookie%20sheet%20and%20bake%20at%20350'%20for%20about%2010%20minutes%20or%20more.%20Shake%20the%20pan%20part%20way%20through%20to%20ensure%20you%20get%20an%20even%20toast.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20large%20bowl,%20combine%20your%20flour,%20ground%20Mexican%20chocolate%20if%20thats%20the%20route%20you're%20taking,%20baking%20soda%20and%20salt.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20while%20you're%20at%20it,%20get%20in%20touch%20with%20the%20child%20in%20you%20and%20play%20with%20your%20food%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20another%20bowl,%20cream%20together%20the%20butter%20and%20sugars.%20Add%20in%20the%20corn%20syrup%20and%20vanilla%20.%20Mix%20until%20just%20combined.%20Add%20the%20eggs%20and%20mix%20them%20lightly.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThen%20add%20the%20flour%20mixture%20to%20the%20creamed%20butter%20mixture%20until%20just%20combined.%20In%20other%20words...don't%20over%20mix.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EStir%20in%20the%20nuts%20and%20coconut%20and%20chocolate%20chunks%20(if%20that's%20the%20route%20you're%20going).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EUsing%20a%20small%20ice%20cream%20scoop,%20or%202%20tablespoons,%20scoop%20and%20drop%20the%20dough%20onto%20your%20prepared%20cookie%20sheets.%20Leave%20at%
