%20or%20work%20on%20something%20a%20little%20more%20out%20there%20like%20our%20favorite%20grilled%20pizza?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOnce%20again,%20Dad%20provided%20the%20answer.%20%20Nothing%20says%20summer%20quite%20like%20the%20rosy%20kissed%20cheeks%20of%20a%20tender,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Efuzzy%20peach,%20and%20with%20an%20occasional%20bag%20of%20the%20fragrant,%20sweet%20stone%20fruits%20appearing%20on%20my%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Edoorstep,%20I%20know%20Dad%20has%20been%20thinking%20of%20me.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYesterday,%20such%20a%20bag%20appeared,%20and%20wending%20peaches%20into%20this%20month's%20Food%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPhotography%20Challenge%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Edidn't%20prove%20to%20be%20a%20difficult%20decision.%20%20Photographing%20said%20BBQ,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ethough,%20did%20prove%20to%20be%20quite%20a%20challenge.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMeat%20has%20always%20proved%20to%20be%20difficult%20for%20me%20to%20capture%20nicely.%20%20Frankly,%20I%20don't%20really%20think%20meat%20is%20%22pretty%22,%20or%20even%20attractive.%20%20Sizzling%20away%20on%20the%20grill,%20meat%20is%20indeed%20mouthwatering,%20and%20a%20nice,%20juicy%20fillet%20topped%20with%20a%20pat%20of%20herb%20butter%20can%20even%20almost%20appear%20sexy.%20%20Pork%20tenderloin,%20however,%20just%20didn't%20bring%20out%20those%20feelings%20for%20me.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWith%20a%20fabulous%20Peach%20BBQ%20sauce%20simmering%20away%20on%20my%20stove,%20aromas%20of%20bacon,%20chipotle%20and%20sweet%20peach%20filled%20every%20corner%20of%20the%20house.%20%20The%20pork%20slowly%20roasted%20over%20my%20low%20flame%20on%20the%20grill,%20and%20after%20a%20quick%20rest%20on%20the%20cutting%20board,%20the%20pork%20proved%20to%20be%20exceptionally%20tender%20and%20perfectly%20cooked.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECombining%20the%20steaming%20sauce%20and%20tender%20pork%20with%20a%20side%20of%20Aroz%20Verde,%20the%20plate%20actually%20held%20mouthwatering%20appeal.%20%20Shooting%20as%20the%20sun%20set%20into%20the%20ocean%20just%20a%20few%20miles%20behind%20me,%20the%20light%20brought%20out%20the%20colors%20of%20the%20sauce%20and%20the%20rice%20contrasted%20nicely%20with%20its%20green%20hue.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAs%20the%20setting%20sun%20dropped%20quickly%20and%20my%20teenage%20son%20hovered%20over%20his%20dinner,%20time%20was%20of%20the%20essence%20and%20after%20some%2020%20shots%20my%20shoot%20was%20deemed%20done.%20%20The%20dinner,%20however,%20lasted%20far%20longer%20as%20my%20son%20and%20I%20lingered%20over%20our%20peaches%20and%20pork%20for%20an%20enjoyable%20and%20infrequent%20dinner%20with%20just%20the%20two%20of%20us.%20%20With%20topics%20bouncing%20all%20over%20the%20spectrum%20and%20conversation%20flowing%20for%20over%20an%20hour,%20this%20BBQ%20dinner%20proved%20to%20become%20an%20evening%20that%20this%20mom%20will%20long%20remember.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFor%20more%20BBQ%20Food%20Photography,%20join%20my%20for%20a%20trip%20around%20our%20Inspired%20Plate%20Blog%20Circle.%20%20Next%20up?%20%20A%20fabulous%20photographer%20I%20had%20the%20pleasure%20of%20joining%20on%20a%20photo%20shoot%20a%20few%20weeks%20ago,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Espoon%20thickly,%20stirring%20sauce%20often,%20about%2030%20minutes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EStrain%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Esauce%20into%20medium%20bowl,%20pressing%20enough%20liquid%20and%20solids%20through%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Estrainer%20to%20yield%202%20cups%20sauce;%20discard%20solids%20in%20strainer.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAlternatively,%20leave%20sauce%20chunky%20(I%20prefer%20chunky!).%20%20Season%20sauce%20to%20taste%20with%20salt%20and%20more%20lemon%20juice,%20if%20desired.%20(Can%20be%20made%201%20week%20ahead.%20Cover%20and%20refrigerate.)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPork%20Tenderloin%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFor%20the%20pork%20I%20simply%20rubbed%20my%20tenderloin%20with%20my%20favorite%20garlic%20oil%20(optional...%20any%20oil%20will%20work%20just%20fine),%20sprinkled%20with%20salt%20and%20pepper%20and%20grilled%20on%20a%20medium/medium%20low%20heat%20to%20about%20140%C2%BA.%20%20Allow%20to%20rest%20for%20a%20few%20minutes,%20and%20slice.%20%20Top%20with%20the%20Peach%20BBQ%20Sauce.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThanks%20for%20the%20peaches%20Dad!!!%20%20XOXO%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
