Ingredientes

  • 3 c. All-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 4 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. Oil crisco
  • 2 c. Apples peel/chop
  • 1/2 c. Brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 c. Brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 c. Oil crisco
  • 1/2 c. Minced nuts

Direcciones

  1. Recipe was developed by Crisco Oil and it's one of their all-time most requested.
  2. Combine flour, 2 Tbsp. sugar, baking pwdr and salt. Add in lowfat milk and 1/2 c. Crisco Oil. Stir just sufficient to hold dough together. Place on lightly floured surface and knead 10-12 strokes. Roll to 1/4 inch thick rectangle. Cover dough with combined apples, 1/2 c. brown sugar, and cinnamon. Roll up jelly-roll fashion. Cut into 1-inch thick slices.
  3. Combine 1 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. Crisco Oil and nuts in bottom of a 13x9-inch pan. Place rolls in pan. Bake at 425 degrees for 15-20 min, till desired brownness. Immediately turn upside down onto large platter.
  4. Serve hot.
  5. Makes about 8 rolls.
