Ingredientes

  • 100 gm butter
  • 50 gm caster sugar
  • 75 gm plain flour
  • 50 gm semolina
  • 1 Tbsp. grnd cinnamon
  • 25 gm dessicated coconut

Direcciones

  1. Cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy.
  2. Sieve together the flour cinnamon and semolina.
  3. Work the dry ingredients plus coconut into creamed mix Knead lightly to give a manageable dough.
  4. Place dough in the centre of a greased baking tray.
  5. Pat out to a 180mm square.
  6. Neaten edges prick with a fork.
  7. Bake with the ovenshelf on the floor of the roasting ovenof the 2 ovenaga with the cool shelf 2 runners above the tray. Put the ovenshelf on the floor of the baking ovenof the 4 ovenaga.
  8. Bake for 25 to 30 min till pale golden brown and looking dry.
  9. Cut into portions and cold on a wire rack.
  10. These are unusual chunky biscuits ideal on their own or possibly with fruit salad.
