Ingredientes

  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspooons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspon salt
  • 1/2 to 1 cup sugar

Direcciones

  1. Blend together the butter and brown sugar in a large bowl
  2. Add the egg and molasses
  3. Set aside
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, and the salt in a separate large bowl
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture
  6. Mix well
  7. Roll the dough into one-inch balls
  8. Roll in the sugar
  9. Arrange onto ungreased baking sheets 2 inches apart
  10. Bake at 350 F for 10-12 minutes or until the cookies are set and the tops are cracked
  11. Remove to wire racks
