Ingredientes

  • 6 Tbsp. Lowfat milk
  • 6 Tbsp. Buttermilk
  • 2 lrg Large eggs
  • 3 Tbsp. Granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 pch Nutmeg
  • 8 slc cinnamon-raisin bread
  • 1/4 c. Unsalted butter Date-Nut Butter Powdered sugar, for dusting

Direcciones

  1. In a large, shallow dish, beat together lowfat milk, buttermilk, Large eggs, granulated sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  2. Soak bread slices in egg mix till bread is soaked through but not falling apart.
  3. Heat 2 Tbsp. of the unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium heat; add in 4 bread slices and cook till crisp and golden on both sides, about 5 min. Remove and keep hot. Repeat with remaining unsalted butter and bread slices. Serve with Date-Nut Butter and dust with powdered sugar.
  4. Makes 4 servings.
