Ingredientes

  • 2 lrg Egg whites
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 c. Sugar
  • 4 tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger
  • 1/4 tsp Grnd cloves
  • 1/2 lb Roasted nuts, such as Almonds or possibly pecans

Direcciones

  1. In a bowl beat the egg whites lightly with the salt. In another bowl sift the sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and cloves and stir till well mixed.
  2. Add in the nuts to the egg whites, stirring to coat completely and with a fork transfer the nuts in small batches, being sure to allow the excess egg white to dip off, to the sugar mix. Dredge completely and arrange 1-inch apart on baking sheets lined with parchment or possibly brown paper. Bake the nuts in 300 degrees oven for 25 to 30 min or possibly till the coating is crisp. Let cold for 10 min, then store in airtight containers.
