Receta Cinnamon Swirl Bread
This bread smells absolutely wonderful while baking and it tastes even better~
- 1-1/3 cups granulated sugar
- 2 t ground cinnamon
- 2 cups flour
- 1 T baking powder
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 cup milk
- 1/3 cup oil
Grease and flour a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.
Mix 1/3 cup sugar and cinnamon; set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt and remaining sugar.
In a medium bowl, combine egg, milk and oil; add to flour mixture. Stir just until moistened. Pour half the batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle with half the cinnamon mixture. Repeat with remaining batter and cinnamon mixture. Draw a knife through batter to marble. Bake at 350 for 45 to 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove from pan. Cool. Wrap and store bread overnight before slicing.
Health Note: Berries are fiber giants. Just 1 cup of berries provides about 8 grams of fiber, one third your daily fiber needs.
