Receta Cinnamon Tortilla Dippers

- In a medium-sized flat-bottomed bowl, toss together sugar and cinnamon.
- Cut each tortilla into 8 small pie-shaped wedges.
- Heat 1/4 inch oil in heavy frying pan over medium heat till warm but not smoking.
- Carefully lower tortilla wedges into warm oil, cooking till golden on both sides, turning once, about 1 minute per side. Watch carefully, they can burn quickly. Don't crowd pan, work with only a few wedges at a time. If small bits of tortilla break off during cooking, remove with slotted spoon to prevent burning.
- Use tongs to place cooked tortilla wedges in bowl with cinnamon sugar mix. Toss to coat and place on paper towels to cold. If cinnamon sugar mix gets too moist, replenish with additional sugar and cinnamon.
- Serve immediately or possibly cold and pack between layers of wax paper in a tightly sealed cookie tin or possibly in re-sealable plastic bags. Pack with applesauce c. for a great snack.
