Ingredientes

  • 2 can (7 ounce.) chopped clams (1 pint)
  • 3 slc bacon, minced
  • 1 c. onion, minced
  • 2 c. raw potato, diced
  • 1 c. clam liquor and water
  • 1 1/2 c. whole kernel corn
  • 3 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or possibly other fat
  • 1 tsp celery salt
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 dsh pepper
  • 1/2 c. cracker crumbs (optional)

Direcciones

  1. Fry bacon till crisp; add in onion and cook till tender. Add in potatoes and liquid; simmer till potatoes are tender. Add in corn and lowfat milk.
  2. Thicken the mix with flour and fat that has been blended together. Add in seasonings and clams; simmer 5 min. Top with cracker crumbs. Serve warm.
