Receta Clean Eating Grain Free Trail Mix
People are always asking me what they can pack to take with them on long trips. And with all the holiday travel coming up, I thought I’d make some trail mix to enjoy on the road.
The really great thing about this is that all you have to do to turn this into breakfast is add some oats and milk of your choosing and you’ve got instant meusli or warm cereal! That’s a win-win in my book. Or even just sprinkle some of this over your morning bowl of oats! It just doesn’t get any easier than that.
This particular batch is going to Mini Chef’s day care. They serve only healthy foods there (I’m so lucky I found one that does!), so I know this will be a big hit. In fact, I might even make some of this for holiday gifts. Put this in a pretty jar with a ribbon and a small wooden spoon, a pretty tag with some ideas for using it, and voila!
