Ingredientes

  • Crunch Topping (recipe follows)
  • 1/4 c. cocoa
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 3/4 c. applesauce
  • 1 x egg beaten
  • 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp grnd cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. minced nuts

Direcciones

  1. Microwave: Prepare Crunch Topping; set aside. In small bowl, combine cocoa and oil; stir till smooth. Add in applesauce and egg; blend well. In medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Stir in applesauce mix just till moistened. Mix in nuts.
  2. Place 6 paper muffin c. (2 1/2 inches in diameter) in microwavable muffin pan or possibly 6-oz microwavable custard c.. Fill each c. 1/2 full with batter.
  3. Sprinkle about 2 tsp. Crunch Topping on each muffin. Microwave at High (100%) 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 min, turning every minute or possibly till wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
  4. (Tops may still appear moist). Let stand several min. (Moist spots will disappear upon standing). Repeat procedure with remaining batter.
  5. Serve hot.
  6. Makes about 12 muffins.
  7. O BCRUNCH TOPPING: b O In small microwavable bowl, microwave 1 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine at High (100%) 15 seconds or possibly till melted.
  8. Add in 2 Tbsp. cocoa; blend till smooth. Stir in 1/4 c. packed light brown sugar, 1/2 c. minced nuts, 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour and 1/4 tsp. grnd cinnamon.
