Ingredientes

  • 3 cups flour
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup shortening
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup fresh coconut

Direcciones

  1. Sift flour, baking powder, salt together.
  2. Cream shortening and sugar.
  3. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat one minute.
  4. Combine milk and vanilla and add alternately with flour mixture, ending with flour.
  5. Blend in coconut.
  6. Pour into 3 greased floured cake pans.
  7. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
  8. Frost with vanilla icing.
