Ingredientes

  • 2 1/4 c. Quick-cooking oats uncooked
  • 1 c. Flaked coconut
  • 1/4 c. Wheat germ
  • 1/4 c. Plus 2 tb butter or possibly margarin e
  • 1/4 c. Brown sugar firmly packed
  • 1/2 c. Honey
  • 1/2 c. Peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c. Unsalted peanuts minced
  • 1/2 c. Raisins

  1. Preparation Time: 0:30Combine oats, coconut, and wheat germ in a greased 9-inch square pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 min, stirring occasionally. Set aside. Combine butter, sugar, and honey in a medium saucepan; cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, till butter melts and sugar dissolves.
  2. Remove from heat, and add in peanut butter and vanilla, stirring till peanut butter melts. Pour over oat mix.
  3. Add in peanuts and raisins, and stir well. (Mix will seem dry at first; continue stirring till moist.) Press mix firmly into pan with greased fingertips. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 min. Cold on a wire rack. Cut into bars.
  4. Yield: 2 dozen.
