- Preparation Time: 0:30Combine oats, coconut, and wheat germ in a greased 9-inch square pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 min, stirring occasionally. Set aside. Combine butter, sugar, and honey in a medium saucepan; cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, till butter melts and sugar dissolves.
- Remove from heat, and add in peanut butter and vanilla, stirring till peanut butter melts. Pour over oat mix.
- Add in peanuts and raisins, and stir well. (Mix will seem dry at first; continue stirring till moist.) Press mix firmly into pan with greased fingertips. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 min. Cold on a wire rack. Cut into bars.
- Yield: 2 dozen.
