Receta Coconut Macaroon Brownies
Apparently most of you aren't quilters. I'm assuming my tutorial yesterday didn't go over very well because I only got one comment. Thanks Michelle, I always know I can count on you!! You are definitely my BFF!
To sooth my wounded ego, I am sharing something I know you all love. CHOCOLATE! These brownies are absolutely decadent. Kind of like German chocolate cake inside out. (Although we actually prefer German chocolate brownies.) These were a huge hit at our house, especially with my husband. The gooey coconut middle is divine, and pairs nicely with the chocolate-y brownies. If you like chocolate and coconut, you've got to give these a try!
Coconut Macaroon Brownies
- 3/4 cup melted butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 cup cocoa
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp salt
- Filling:
- 4 cups coconut
- 1 14oz can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 Tbsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp salt
Mix butter, sugar, vanilla, and cocoa. Whisk in eggs till well blended. Stir in flour and salt. Spread half of batter in greased 9×13" pan. Combine all filling ingredients in a mixing bowl. Spread over the brownie batter. Drop remaining batter over filling in spoonfuls, then spread out. Bake at 350° for about 40-45 minutes. (I used a glass pan, so I baked at 325°.)
